Housekeeper - united kingdom, woodbridge, suffolk

part-time housekeeper required or could offer full-time employment on the broader estate if preferred for an estate near woodbridge, suffolk. the position will be working alongside an existing housekeeper.

this is a relaxed household, but high standards are required. we are looking for a housekeeper who is discreet, reliable, flexible, with a can-do attitude. hours will be discussed with suitable candidates at the interview stage. days required to work tuesday, wednesday and friday with overnight stays on tuesdays and wednesdays. additional days/ nights will be required to provide holiday cover from time to time. on offer is a competitive salary. dbs check required.

duties to include:

simple cooking if required.
ironing
cleaning
dog walking and other domestic chores.
happy to be onsite for two midweek nights to provide cover.

the ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

a practical and “hands-on” approach is essential to this role.
must be flexible and open-minded to the wide variety of tasks presented.
must be able to react well to unexpected issues and task requests.
being able to prioritise work constantly is essential.
discretion – proven track record of holding a position of trust.
driving licence.
good with dogs and all animals.
