primary responsibilities
coordinate missing items for shipments by working with the planning team
process shop jobs for finished inventory
manage finished goods inventory by ordering supplies utilizing the kanban system
staging inventory for sales orders
understand departmental policies and procedures for shipping sales orders, rental orders, service shipments, and miscellaneous shipments per in-situ policy.
schedule and prepare documentation for ltl freight shipments via misc. ltl carriers
requirements
ability to work effectively with multiple departments. proven communication and organizational skills
familiarity with windows os and windows office products (excel and word)
problem solver and team player with a strong work ethic. must be punctual to shift times.
valid driver’s license without restrictions
minimum of 1 years of experience preferred working as a material handler or related field in manufacturing
working environmental and physical conditions:
normal production environment utilizing lean manufacturing principle including one-piece flow
ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
