Regional building surveyor - support office - united kingdom, faversham, kent

shepherd neame are looking for a regional building surveyor to be based in faversham at our brewery and support office. in this role you will deliver industry leading standards of property portfolio management across pub assets within a defined area. you will be expected to carry the technical competence to deliver all aspects of the role, together with the capability to develop strong business relationships with business managers and pub partners.

reporting to the senior surveyor & head of property services, this role plays a key part in our long-term growth strategy. you will work proactively and autonomously and have the ability to use initiative, effective communication and negotiation to building long-term relationships with third parties to ensure that the best outcome is achieved for all.

ideally hold a relevant degree in building surveying.experience of undertaking property inspections, preferred knowledge of historic buildings desirable but not essential.knowledge & experience of dilapidations. knowledge or experience of the pub/restaurant industry, or leisure sector, is desirable.excellent skills in relationship building, negotiation and internal stakeholder management.highly enthusiastic, self-drive and strong commercial acumen.mrics is desirable, or working toward professional membership.proficient in ms word and excel packages. experience of autocad would be desirable.proficient with key software systems with an aptitude to learn new.full uk driving license benefits:
