we provide professional educational training courses online to customers across the globe. it support is a key role within the company, and we are looking for a dynamic person with a range of it skills. this position is primarily responsible for maintaining our day-to-day it support requirements to both employees and customers. additional responsibilities will grow as per the requirements of the company – successful applicants would also be expected to contribute to ongoing company projects.
the post holder will report directly to the it director and should be in a position to work remotely. the role will require in-person visits to our uk office, which is based in hessle (near the city of hull) to provide hands-on support. it is preferable applicants are geographically close to our offices and have some experience with hardware diagnosis and repair.
principle duties/tasks and responsibilities include:
*support our customers throughout their elearning journey (email, telephone, video conference)
*provide support to team members globally, including software and hardware needs.
*website editing and publishing.
*design and create graphics and interactions for elearning products
*work with our learning management systems (lms) to manage content and users
*contribute to our marketing
the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in the sector including:
*experience with learning management systems.
*experience in a previous it support role.
*experience or knowledge of microsoft azure ad.
*strong design skills including graphics and web design.
*comfortable producing and editing html and css.
*additional programming skills in php, javascript or other.
*strong and confident communication skills.
*an understanding of databases, i.e. mysql
