Mothers help/nanny wanted - united kingdom, holloway, london

we are looking for someone to help with childcare from the last week of august.

this would be a long term position, for around 35 hours per week (to be negotiated). the job would include doing the school run, taking the kids to their after-school activities (ballet, swimming etc.) or organising fun activities with them, occasionally making the kids dinner, bath time, and sometimes bedtime.

main hours:

monday, tuesday & thursday 3pm -7:30pm

wednesdays 11:30am - 7:30pm (as our kids attend a french school and only do half days). on this day we would like you to take our kids on a big ‘adventure activity’ like going to he science museum, zoo or something educational.

we would also like to look at the option of some help in the mornings 7am-9am (and possibly 7am-12pm on one weekend day) so it would be great if the candidate lives locally and has availability, this could be flexible and on an ad-hoc basis should we need it.

this job would suit an experienced nanny, or someone who's kids have grown up and have less hands-on needs.

a driving license would be advantageous, as the school is in kentish town (and we could put you on our car insurance). however, as transport links are very good, this is not essential.

our kids are bilingual (french/english) so a good knowledge of french as well as english would be great for helping with homework, but again not essential.

we are a super friendly family with two very sparky girls aged 4 and 6. we would love to engage someone who is energetic. dynamic and fun. someone who will click easily with our kids and be part of our extended family.

note: we would prefer this position to be live out, but would also consider 'live in' for the right candidate.
