Part-time community support worker - united kingdom, alfreton, derbyshire
part-time community support worker required to work with an outgoing and sociable man in his early 60’s with an acquired brain injury in alfreton. duties will include assisting with shopping and supporting with social and recreational activities, including going to local football matches.
the experience offered by this post would be of benefit to a therapy, or related, student or graduate. some previous brain injury or support worker experience preferred but full training, support and guidance will be provided. must be a car driver.
hours: 9.30 – 11.30 tuesday
10.00 – 2.00 fridays
5 hours once a month on a saturday.
rate of pay: £12.00 – £15.00 per hour depending on experience.
this post will be subject to a dbs check and you will also be asked to provide two references.
