adecco medical & science is assisting a top client in the healthcare industry in recruiting for a lab assistant in durham, nc, as a greenhouse technician.

 

this position is a full-time contract opportunity, lasting 3-6 months, with the possibility to be extended or converted.

 

shift: m-f

 

the technician will be responsible for hand watering, fertilizing, and plant maintenance, sampling, transplanting, moving, pollinating, and discarding plants, planting, harvesting, shelling, and counting seeds, assisting with data collection and plant performance observations.

 

bs degree or equivalent in agronomy, horticulture or plant science field or an associate degree with 2 years of experience in plant biology required.
