Maintenance technician - united states, evansville

adecco is hiring immediately for a maintenance technician with a local client in evansville, in.  the maintenance technician will support preventative and corrective maintenance activities of distribution equipment to optimize productive resources available and ensure minimal downtime for operations, with pay starting at $24.00/hour, plus available overtime.

 

key responsibilities:

supports preventative maintenance activities

executes daily maintenance work schedule

perform hands on maintenance activities

ensures assigned repairs and maintenance are completed thoroughly and timely

supports installation of new machines and production equipment

conducts technical inspections of machines

installs, maintains, and repairs manufacturing equipment and fixtures

maintains repair and maintenance records

maintain preventative maintenance inspection reports and their completion to schedule

requirements:

technical trade school diploma or certificate in mechanical/maintenance/repair or closely related field

2+ years of experience in maintenance of distribution related equipment

2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance

understanding of ac and dc electrical circuits and troubleshooting of the same

mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills

flexibility to work weekends/overtime as needed
