my client is a leading principal contractor within construction, building and transportation. they have a proven track record of delivering highly complex projects on time and in budget. they are seeking site agent to join a highly quality driven team to deliver the best results.

as the site manager you will be responsible for:

supervising subcontractors and direct labour and technical staffplanning, scheduling, procuring, and delivering the project effectively, often to a tight scheduledrawing up a detailed plan of how to achieve each stage of the project, as well as an overall planensure a project team is in place and manage that team throughout the progress of the whole projectensure that each stage of the project is progressing on time and on budget and identify any issues that may prevent this from happeningresponsible for reporting regularly on the progress of the project to the client and/or to the senior managersmanaging all health and safety * liaising with the client team and consultantsidentify what the client wants to achieve * agree timescales, costs and resources needed, with the clientworking to the contract (nec)about you:

relevant qualifications and previous experience as a site manager including smsts, cscs and first aidfull understanding of procurement of civil engineering works including preparation of specifications and current health & safety legislation for civil engineering.sound judgement and problem-solving skills.commercial and contractual awareness.be able to prepare comprehensive technical reports.experience working on civil highway projectswhat you will get in return:
