Handy person with general skills - united kingdom, falkirk
we are looking for a handy person to join our team who has a good knowledge and general labouring skills. the job will consist of cleaning, emptying, filling, and dosing of hot tubs, general maintenance on site, painting, groundworks consisting of weeding, cutting grass, strimming/brush cutting, hedge trimming, raking of gravel, spraying of weeds, oiling of decking and lodges, touch up of paintwork and general duties assigned from management. the job will also move onto the construction and labouring of timber frame construction of lodges. general hand tools will be preferred and a good understanding of health and safety.
the role is part time with zero-hour contracts main start time from 1030 to 1600 but earlier working from 0800 will be required once moving onto the construction phase of the site. we are looking for an individual who can work away under their own initiative to get on and complete a task assigned to them but also think ahead and be proactive to move onto the next tasks without having to be instructed. the job role will commence in june/july and must be able to work as a team on site. weekend working is required but this will be rota based with others on site so not every weekend will be required. the work will consist of some manual handling within limits covered under health and safety.
