we are looking for a responsible, reliable and kind female nanny/household help to look after the girls, aged 10 and 12 years, wednesday to friday before and after school. we live in muswell hill. the girls are well behaved, sweet and cuddly and we are a nice family to work with. good knowledge of english language is very important. we also ask for some household help, moslty washing and ironing.

the parents are working (even if on some days on is working from home). it is very important that you are reliable, punctual, and able to engage with children. the girls are quite grown up and self-reliant, they basically need an adult in the house to do the “adult things” and support them.

to start: august 31 2022 until end of the academic year (july 2022). however, we do need help with different hours from august 10th if you are available.

hours

wednesday – friday

7:30-9:00 am

3:15-7:00 pm

(extra hours available for household help)

nanny duties:

morning: supervise breakfast, prepare pack lunches, tidy up the kitchen and take the youngest to school (5 min walk)

pick up the youngest from school, take them to local activities (walking), supervise homework routine, give them snacks, prepare dinner (little and easy cooking involved), tidy up the kitchen, supervise evening showers and help tidy up the bedroom, host playdates.

household help duties : there is free time when girls are doing their homework when we will ask for help with washing and ironing.

optional extra time afternoon: start at 2:30 pm. if you choose to do the extra time this involves again help with family washing, putting away clothes and ironing (only iron girls clothes/bedding).

salary: hourly rate tbc

annual leave/sick pay: discuss upon application.
