type: contract 

pay: $44.71/hour

length:  six (6) month, with the possibility of converting to permanent placement
shift/hours:  monday – friday

notes:  this position is remote

responsibilities for the talent acquisition specialist job:

  • partner with hr business partners and corresponding managers to source for the best in quality technical talent, determining the best avenues for talent acquisition
  • keep abreast of industry talent and incorporate best practices for reaching top talent before competition
  • manage and participate in requisition flow and applicant screening process, providing overall highlights on each candidate, making recommendations to hiring managers
  • negotiate and discuss offers with all parties involved
  • track and provide up-to-date recruiting status activity, recommending alternative solutions for hard to fill positions
  • correspond with the applicant during the recruiting process to ensure the candidates interest and experience
  • participate in virtual job fairs and college recruiting events: potentially helping to coordinate the event
  • regularly interact with employees and all levels of management
  • qualifications for this talent acquisition specialist job:

  • minimum of 5 years’ experience in recruiting and sourcing for technical and non-technical roles
  • experience implementing and driving innovative sourcing strategies for passive talent
  • experience with applicant tracking systems and linkedin recruiter
