we are looking for an assistant manager for our busy site in leytonstone, the heathcote and star.

the venue is a multi-functional space including a games room with pool tables, a pingpong table and live sports, two private function rooms, and a large green garden with bar. we are a local pub focusing on great customer service, great drinks, and a wide range of entertainment including wine tastings, live football and games nights.

you will be working with the general manager and another assistant manager, managing all areas of the venue ensuring that excellent customer service and operational standards are being delivered at all times.

we are looking for a natural team leader who enjoys working in a busy lively environment and can manage and enjoy the pressure of running a multifunctional space- every day!

you will need:

customer service experience within a pub or restaurant environment, at least 6 months in an assistant manager or an equivalent position.
to be able to deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with our customers
experience leading a team.
strong ability to multi-task and handle a busy bookings diary, across all areas of the venue.
cellar management experience.
ability to be a fair but strong manager who strives to get the best from every staff member, and to provide the best customer experience possible.
a passion for great food and drinks.
