Furniture sprayer - united kingdom, walsall, west midlands

we are a small and successful business and we take great pride in designing, manufacturing and installing bespoke furniture for our interior design clients. we are now actively looking for a furniture sprayer/ finisher preferably with silvering experience.

job description

you will predominately be spraying wooden and metal furniture manufactured on site at our aldridge workshops. you will be required to manage your workload in connection with time sensitive dates, offering your expertise and advice throughout the manufacturing, painting, and finishing processes. the successful applicant will be working with bespoke furniture pieces so experience in spraying furniture is essential.

the ideal candidate:

*previous painting and wet spraying experience are essential for this role

*a high standard of preparation of all products to be sprayed is required

*experience working with the following finishes: painted, silvering, stained and lacquered, high gloss (piano finish), metal painting and lacquering of brass

*time served painter within the joinery industry is advantageous

*good attention to detail and ability to organise your time within the department

*willingness to work within a close-knit team to reach all required deadlines

*high level of initiative and problem solving is essential for this role

*basic to intermediate knowledge of silvering glass would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

this is a permanent position, working hours monday to friday of 8am – 5pm with overtime available through busy times.

rate: £10 - £12 per hour negotiable depending upon experience
