Administrative assistant - maternity cover - united kingdom, whitby, north yorkshire
a vacancy has arisen for the position of administrative assistant in the customer service department for 12 months' maternity cover - reporting to the senior customer service representative.
responsibilities include:
- respond to customer enquiries and ensure a good level of communication with customers
- process and monitor customer orders
- communicate to relevant factory group leader any customer issues or concerns
- prepare, record and dispatch sample/trial material
- general administrative support to the customer service department
- use of the itw toolbox and 80/20 philosophy and process, particularly the quad analysis, to evaluate and prioritise customer contact
this role requires an individual who possesses excellent communication skills, a high degree of self-motivation and a 'can do attitude'. the candidate must be proficient in microsoft office programs and previous admin experience is preferred.
location: whitby
working hours: 37.5 hours per week / 5 days (0900-1700).
start date: immediate
salary: £20,000 p.a.
