Purchasing adminsistration staff - united kingdom, limehouse, london

long established, docklands based, construction & property management company seeking full time purchasing admin staff to join their small, friendly office team.

this job role is to ensure the smooth administrative running of our construction and property companies, which run alongside one another. you will be assisting the book keeper with administrative tasks, helping with enquiries and purchasing for both construction & property. will need to be proficient in general office administration and also purchasing administrative tasks. this person should have good communication skills, and be able to work as part of a small team.

key duties & responsibilities

answering phones, general filing, general photocopying sorting post to correct departments assist with processing orders from requisitions obtaining quotes from suppliers placing orders with suppliers assisting with invoice & order queries liaising with utility companies monitoring of in house stock levels purchase order processing (sage accounts would be beneficial)

must have;

good phone manner good communication skills 1-3 years’ experience within an office role (construction industry would be beneficial) excellent administrative organisation skills time management work as a team good computer proficiency reliable and punctual

working hours – 8.30am to 5pm - monday - friday (full time)
