shepherd-neame is looking for a people administrator to join our people team based at the brewery & support office in faversham on a full time permanent contract.

you will be an experienced, self-motivated professional with a flexible approach and the confidence to take ownership of key processes. we are looking for someone who has a sense of humour, is a team player and has an eye for accuracy and organisation. the good news is you don’t need to be fully hr qualified to apply for this role, although we’d love for you to be working towards one.

you'll be helping with applications, recruitment data, correspondence, interviews and more, in a fast-paced office where great communication is key. with new recruits joining our business all the time, there are always plenty of fresh challenges to keep you on your toes.

what you'll do:-

be the custodian of our online recruitment platform, harri (keeping the platform up to date and relevant for our business)keep our managers up to date with any new initiatives launched via harrideliver training to new and existing team members on how to use harrico-ordinate the hiring of new applicants across our businesskeep applicants up to date and informed via harri, letters and email correspondencemanage our internal job adverts and applications via harricomplete resume screening and shortlisting for vacancies within shepherd neamemaintain candidate records on our databases and systemsensure the successful onboarding and induction of our new startersbe able to work under pressure in a fast paced business and deal with enquiries quickly and efficientlybe able to produce monthly reports to identify our key recruitment trendsbe the first contact for all external recruitment enquiries

preferred experience & qualifications:

previous experience within recruitment is required for this role but the good news is you don't need to be fully hr qualified, although we'd love for you to be working towards one. but we do look for:-

a sense of humourthe ability to work in a fast paced people environmenta proactive, positive approach to work with great customer focus the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines computer skills with word, excel and database experiencea confident communication style and exceptional literacya ‘can do’ attitude, able to get along with anyonea knack for multi-tasking and organisationinitiative and an eye for detailability to work independently and as part of a teamexperience using recruiting software and social networks for recruitingfamiliarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding)

full time - 37.5 hours per week 08:30 - 17:00, monday to friday with 1 hour lunch (unpaid).
