Payroll administrator - united kingdom, rochdale, manchester
a utilities company based in milnrow is looking for a payroll administrator to join their busy payroll team.
the successful applicant will be required to work monday to friday hours 8.00am to 17.00pm (office based)
your role:
- collation of timesheets
- process company payroll weekly/monthly
- maintain payroll processing system and records, gathering, calculating, and inputting data on to sage.
- checking worker's paperwork and application forms, ensuring everyone is compliant
- data entry of personal details
- photocopying
- general admin duties on a daily basis
- answering staff questions re wages, deductions, attendance and time records
- liaising with internal and external teams
skills and experience:
- previous experience working within a payroll department essential
- sage experience required
- trustworthy and accurate
- excellent data entry and administration skills
- good verbal and written communication skills
- able to work in a fast paced, time critical environment
- experience of working to tight deadlines
- good telephone skills
salary negotiable depending on experience
20 days holiday a year + bank holidays
they are located on a main bus and tram route so are easily accessible.
