job summary:
1st shift: 8am – 4:30pm with overtime as needed.
monday – friday
payrate: $18.00/hour
job summary:
under direction of manufacturing production supervisor, performs receiving, assembly, material handling, and shipping activities as directed to support manufacturing in the adaptive compressor remanufacturing facility.
performs shop activities such as receiving, assembly, disassembly, materials handling, shipping, and scrapping.
completes required documentation of work activities.
advises supervisor of potential process improvements that may drive efficiency and/or promote safety in the shop.
assists in other shop floor activities as requested.
sets up and verifies the functionality of safety equipment and ppe according to safety policies.
housekeeping - cleans production equipment and work areas, including hand tools.
requirements:
high school degree or equivalent.
experience in manufacturing/warehousing environment, shipping and receiving a plus.
lifting requirements of up to 50 lbs.
minimum proficiency in pc based programs such as microsoft office suite, electronic mail, and the internet is a plus.
experience in the operation of forklift and overhead crane is a plus. training and certification will be provided onsite.
good attendance is required for this role. must possess ability to work well in a team environment.
