important qualifications include:
current licensure as an/rn in kansas or a valid compact state
must be in good standing and able to meet all federal and state requirements
5 years clinical experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a lead clinical role, or management experience
hospice experience is highly desirable
good computer skills
position responsibilities include:
recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff for the hospice team
co-ordinating staff training and conducting staff meetings
assure compliance with federal and state regulations
auditing clinical records
overseeing assessments for referrals and visits for patients are scheduled
and other duties typical of this role and responsibility.
