Weekend carer/ comapny for disabled daughter - united kingdom, rickmansworth, hertfordshire

seeking an enthusiastic, reliable carer to help with my 20 year old disabled daughter at the weekends. the role involves some caring but will mostly be as company and entertainment for her. we are based in rickmansworth and would like someone to start asap.

about livvy:

livvy has cerebral palsy which means she is physically disabled and uses an electric wheelchair but mentally she is very with it. she requires assistance for most tasks.
she is very engaging and chatty once you get to know her and loves company.
she loves being on social media, listening to music and chatting with her friends on her phone.

about you:

must have a valid uk driving license.
some experience as a carer would be great but not essential.
must be physically able to lift and move livvy in and out of her chair.
must be happy to adapt and go with the flow as each weekend will be different.

duties:

hours of work either:

saturday morning until sunday evening, just for the daytimes saturday and sunday or from when she gets home on friday evenings through to early monday morning.


planning and executing activities and trips.
washing and dressing livvy in the mornings and evenings.
cooking meals and snacks.
occasionally on monday mornings you will need to get livvy ready for school, including packing her bags and prepping anything she may need to bring with her. she is picked up by her driver at 7.45am (of course this won’t be necessary during the holidays)

wages/ compensation:

happy to pay between £10-£15 an hour depending on experience
option to stay overnight but also not essential if you don’t wish to do so
all food and drink is supplied whilst working.
