responsibilities for this production machine operator include, but are not limited to:

ensures materials are correct and placed into the machinery in accordance with specific procedures.

uses hand tools to adjust equipment controls and operating parts as appropriate to the product.

continuously monitors the production process to ensure accuracy of the process and adherence to company specifications.

troubleshoots any equipment/process problems and resolves them as quickly as possible.

performs changeovers from one product to another; disassembles equipment and cleans according to procedures.

scoops capsules onto trays; spreads them into a single layer; and stack for drying; completes stack cards accurately and completely.

lifts containers of in-process, raw, finished, or waste products and transports them within the department as necessary.

maintains required logs and other records accurately and completely.  uses computer to enter data.

performs all duties in compliance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and good manufacturing practices. 

 

to be considered for this production machine operator position, you:

must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

one-year machine operator experience.

must be able to read and write in english.

must have accurate math skills (addition, subtraction, division)

must be able to physically stand for the full shift, and regularly handle up to 50lbs. 

must be able to work a variable 12-hour shift, 6am – 6:30 pm
