here’s your chance to work for one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world! adecco is hiring immediately for warehouse supervisors with a local client in knoxville, tn. warehouse supervisors perform essential duties with pay starting at $17.95/hour, plus available overtime.

 

key responsibilities:

performs activities such as unloading tankers, bins, drums, driving forklift, pallet jack, floor scrubber, cleaning, sanitation, material handling, etc.

operates and monitors machinery used in the production process

verifies conformance to quality standards at all levels (raw, finished, ingredients, storage, and transportation conditions)

performs autonomous maintenance activities such as preventative maintenance, lubrication, center lining, 5s, defect identification, sources of contamination, etc.

participate in periodical activities such as assisting with the cycle counts and physical inventories

maintains good manufacturing practices, housekeeping standards, and safety precautions

performs duties and responsibilities within the guidelines of plant’s programs and initiatives (i.e.: sftpm)

all other duties as assigned by management

 

requirements:

high school diploma, ged or equivalent

minimum 1 year’s recent work experience in a manufacturing facility, food production preferred

experience with inventory control

basic math & strong problem-solving skills

must be able to utilize manufacturing software

must be self-motivated and a self-starter, needing little direction

ability to listen and understand written and verbal information and ideas

ability to strongly communicate written and verbal information and ideas

ability to operate equipment and machines in an industrial environment

ability to perform work within established guidelines and in a safe manner

ability to work well independently and in teams and demonstrate great teamwork

ability to work any shift and overtime

ability to stand duration of shift

ability to lift up to 50 pounds

forklift experienced or able to get certified
