adecco has partnered with a marketing and technology company seeking a senior accountant to help with their team's expansion. this position is hybrid (in office 2 days) and is located near glendale.

the company specializes in b2b marketing services and prides itself on cutting-edge technology and automation to continue being a market leader. the ideal candidate must have a thorough understanding of full-cycle gl accounting, strong excel and be comfortable manipulating data for journal entries and reconciliations and be comfortable assisting with month-end close.

    job duties & responsibilities:

  • lead the month-end and year-end close process, including reviewing journal entries, financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. ensure month-end is closed accurately and meets established deadlines.
  • performs monthly account reconciliations for all assigned accounts and reviews reconciliations performed by staff members.
  • reviews reconciliations performed by staff members and performs account reconciliations on key balance sheet accounts, including deferred revenue, intercompany adjustments, inventory and accrued compensation.
  • generate accurate consolidated financial statements and report consolidated financial results of the company. prepare and present financial analyses, reports, and recommendations to controller.
  • lead communication with external auditors on annual financial audit
  • review and develop inputs for audits and lead technical accounting research
  • collaborate closely with ap, ar, payroll & cash application teams to ensure accurate accounting.
  • oversee and audit inventory cycle count process and adjustments analysis.
