Restaurant manager - united kingdom, amersham, buckinghamshire
we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic restaurant manager who will be working in our restaurant and bar with a team size of around 6-8 people. the chosen candidate will be responsible for setting and upholding extremely high levels of customer service whilst maintaining a fun, lively, friendly, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
key responsibilities
1. must be 'hands on’ leading from the front and prepared to work most of the time directly serving customers and leading the team by example
2. should be able to manage the bar counter and prepare cocktails/mocktails
3. ensuring high standards of customer service are always maintained
4. working to ensure standards of hygiene are always maintained, and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations
5. day-to-day team management and auditing inventory levels to ensure product availability, and ordering products as necessary
6. people management: training and developing new and existing staff, motivating, and encouraging staff to achieve targets, co-ordinating staff scheduling and rotas
7. day-to-day reporting figures and customer feedback to the management
8. working closely with management to meet revenue objectives

· you must have great knowledge and passion for quality food and wine and a high level of service standards.

· the ideal manager for this role must have experience working within a quality restaurant and also must be used to a busy environment
· the capability to respond positively to pressure
· the ability to set and meet targets
· excellent staff management and leadership skills
. must be flexible and respect time
. advanced level of english, soft spoken with great communication skills and eligible to work in the uk
