Assembly operative - united kingdom, diss, norfolk
our client is a longstanding designer and manufacturer of glass rooflights. they are currently looking for an assembly operative to join their tight-knit team.
do you have experience in production/assembly?
do you have experience working with hand tools?
are you able to work towards targets?
if so, this could be the perfect role for you!
you will produce finished roof lights to company schedules and drawings, while maintaining excellent housekeeping and following the company’s iso 9001 2015 quality policy.

*must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings

*be able to work on own initiative
*able to work in a target driven environment

*abrasive wheels
overall role or purpose of the job:
*operate production machinery to create parts and sub-assemblies for final assembly into roof lights
*make recommendations for improvement in process or products as appropriate
*ensure work area is tidy and organised
*store products and components in such way as not to lead to damage, defects or a safety hazard
*carry out any reasonable request given by line supervisor

*good understanding of health & safety procedures/practice
full-time/monday to friday/ 37.5 hours per week/ 07:30 am 3:30 pm
