we have an excellent opportunity for a new insurance advisor to deal with quotations generated by the marketing department, taking details, auditing clients' acceptability, pricing and closing the sale. you will join a team of friendly and enthusiastic insurance professionals.
main duties and responsibilities:
provide accurate quotationsassist the team in completing objectivesselect the appropriate policy for the client from our panel of insurers.follow up quotations within a reasonable time frameexplain the features and benefits of policies to clients.to demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards customers and other team members, recognising the importance and benefits of effective team working. deliver customer service in line with 'best practice' and ensure compliance to relevant policies.to maintain accurate records and computer files.attend team and staff meetings as and when required. skills:
maintain professionalismdisplay patience and politeness within a sometimes pressured environment.ability to communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority and liaise effectively with other internal departments.build and maintain effective relationships with underwriters.good team working skills and ability to work with minimal supervision. you will receive the benefit of a structured induction and training programme carried out by dedicated company trainers. there are plenty of opportunities to progress for the right candidate as our client have a history of promoting from within.
