gig retail is home to a growing team of experienced retail experts, working together to deliver great ideas and great results for our clients. we help to drive brand and retailer sales by creating, delivering and evaluating customer-focused campaigns, across a host of retail-focused marketing and sales activity. at gig retail we are authentic, brilliant, creative and driven.

we are now looking for account managers, within our sales and retail strategy teams, to drive business growth and deliver outstanding client service and effective cross channel plans that exceed client expectations.

this is a client facing role managing day to day relationships as well as client presentations and strategic recommendations. you will be expected to develop strong stakeholder relationships across all levels.

proactivity is key and you must be a confident presenter and not be afraid to speak up, challenge or make recommendations.

you will be a strong project manager and be able to oversee and manage daily tasks for clients and internal stakeholders with strict deadlines alongside balancing longer-term strategic projects.

due to the nature of the retail strategy clients being international, to be considered for this team, the ability to adapt to a flexible working time is required and overseas travel may be required.

account manager expectations and performance outputs will vary dependant on what team you join but you could be expected to:

build and own relationships, becoming a trusted advisor. demonstrate strong project management skills, able to track and drive projects with both internal and external stakeholders. effectively work with account director / sam and build strong relationships with colleagues to deliver brilliant end-to-end experience for clients. demonstrate deep understanding of clients’ business and of specific category and suppliers to enable the delivery of innovative, strategic, ambitious and commercial plans. use historic campaign performance and robust media planning processes to deliver successful campaigns, challenging briefs where required. update forecasts, flagging risks and tracking progress. deputise for the senior account manager when required. hit revenue target for specific categories. maintain accurate forecasting and ops management, flag and suggest actions for any risks. demonstrate consistent planning to deliver against objectives. receive positive client feedback.

you may also be:

managing and evaluating new processes and ways of working for clients. overseeing the completion of projects on a daily and weekly basis. identifying opportunities to support and recommend projects and ideas to clients. applying all levels of account management and excellent client service to encourage growth and customer satisfaction. working as a strategic partner and extension of our client’s teams to integrate within their business and identify further opportunities for gig to support. working closely with senior members of the team, providing accurate status updates for all projects. making daily video calls with clients. demonstrating role model gig behaviours.
