Driver trainer - united kingdom, purfleet, essex
we are a fast-growing recycling business based in purfleet, essex and we are now recruiting for the newest member of our team!
we are looking for an experienced trainer to provide ongoing training to our drivers and driver's mates. you will deliver training in transport regulations, customer service and health & safety.
your role will be critical in maintaining a high level of service and driving standards through classroom toolbox talks and on the road crew checks. you will also be in charge of the recruitment and induction of new drivers, as well as helping existing staff upskill their driving licences.
other responsibilities will include:
accident investigations
driving assessments
compliance audits through camera and vehicle checks
a successful candidate will have:
flexible work ethic as driver shift patterns are variable
an understanding of the transport industry and basic transport law
experience in multi-drop operations
experience in driver training
