k&c cleaning are a small business looking to employ a part time cleaner for 10 hours per week. we are family run and work across the domestic, commercial and holiday let sectors.
about the job
as a cleaner, you will be hard working and detail orientated. you will keep the customer at the centre of everything we do and make a difference to clients by getting things to sparkle. you will enjoy working in a team and be able to complete tasks allocated to you on time. you will come into regular contact with customers so must have a friendly and personable approach. no day is the same as a cleaner, so you will enjoy working in a variety of environments whether it is an office, home or holiday let. you will also be adaptable and able to solve an issue quickly, whether it is getting a stubborn stain out or replacing batteries. you will be a good communicator and keep in touch with your manager regularly, keeping stock of equipment and cleaning fluids. due to the nature of the post you may be required to travel across llandudno, conwy and surrounding areas.
your responsibilities
clean, wash, dust, sweep, polish and vacuum clean as necessary.use cleaning equipment, electrical equipment and chemicals safely.empty litter and recycling bins.replenish any toilet paper and soap as necessary.remove laundry and replace in a neat and presentable fashion.make sure hospitality packages are in place.basic maintenance of cleaning equipment.basic maintenance if required (replacing batteries in remotes and checking lights are working). what you need
a current, clean and valid uk driving licencea year's worth of cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)knowledge of and adherence to health and safety proceduresa customer focused approachwell organised and reliable salary
you will be paid at the rate of gbp11.00 per hour and have some flexibility as to working times.
an offer of employment will be conditional upon a successful interview and satisfactory references. it may also be subject to a satisfactory disclosure and barring service check. you will be subject to a 3 month probationary period.
