we are an award winning traditional english country inn with 2 rosette restaurant, bar and b&b. we are one of the few remaining independent free house's in wiltshire.

we pride ourselves on serving freshly prepared, skilfully cooked dishes. we buy the finest available ingredients including seasonal and local produce, with a strong emphasis on supporting local business. all meals are homemade.

we are looking for temporary sous chef cover through until the end of july. experience of working within a kitchen that holds a minimum of 1 aa rosette would be a benefit.

the hours required are:

thursday to saturday 10am – 3pm & 5pm – 10pm

sunday 9am – 5pm.

this is a small team so a hands on approach is needed. the applicant must be able to keep calm under pressure and have good communicative skills.

due to the rural location, your own transport is essential.

accommodation can be made available if required.
