what is the role?
supporting elderly people with all aspects of their daily life, including social and physical activities, personal care, mobility and meal times.duties may include
assisting clients with eating and drinkinghelping with personal care such as bathing or showering and dressingsupporting clients with social and physical activitiesbooking and accompanying clients to appointmentsmonitoring clients' conditions like taking temperature and helping with medicationwhat experience and qualifications do i need?
you don't necessarily need qualifications to become a care worker. what's really important is that you're kind, compassionate and thoughtful.
we are registered with aoht (association of healthcare trainers) and will train you on the full care certificate qualification.
