wigston paper is a family owned business. established in 1932, this paper company is beginning to serve new demanding markets and is launching a new brand.

innotech digital & display is a unique creation, fulfilling the demands of the large format printing trade and visual communications sector.

they need an operations administrator to support both teams and support the operations manager with administration. a key part of the role is to review current processes and implement improvements to maximise efficiency.

as their operations administrator, you would be responsible for:

being the first point of contact for courier deliveries.
obtaining quotes from transport providers for deliveries to the uk and worldwide.
chasing failed / damaged deliveries with couriers within sla timeframes.
entering transport prices onto manifest.
matching invoices to manifest.
communicating with customer services regarding status of delivery as required.
being the first point of contact for the operations team.
allocating stock to orders.
allocating orders to the warehouse picking staff.
communicating with customer services regarding status of orders as required.
assisting the warehouse manager managing france and italy sites.
any other duties as required to support the transport and operations managers.

the ideal operations administrator will:

have gcses - at least grade c in english and maths.
have at least 2 years administration experience.
be skilled with microsoft office (excel, outlook and word).
be highly organised with good administrative skills.
demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
be able to take the initiative and make proposals on increasing the efficiency of the department.
be a strong team player.
have strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
be flexible and able to work on their own initiative in a busy environment.
have a confident and polite telephone manner.
