the role
are you keen to launch a career as an engineer specialising in refrigeration and air conditioning? if so, an independent east anglian company are looking for a refrigeration and air conditioning trainee engineer.
the successful candidate will work with an experienced engineer, assisting with the installation of pipework, equipment and fixings.
the duties and responsibilities of a refrigeration and air conditioning trainee engineer include, but are not limed to:
• visiting customer sites to service and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to company standards in order to deliver excellent customer service.
• working in a call out rota to provide our customers with 24/7 service.
• being able to communicate with a range of customers about various issues.
• carrying out the work efficiently and to the highest standard, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with current health and safety regulations.

the person
the key skills and qualities of a refrigeration and air conditioning trainee engineer:
o no formal qualifications required, although an nvq level 2 in electrical, plumbing or carpentry would be an advantage.
o experience in the contracting or an engineering field and a skill-card would also be an advantage.
o transport – you would need your own vehicle to meet with engineer each day.
