Operational field operative - united kingdom, st andrews, fife
to work alongside the altido scotland operations, onboarding and account management team to ensure the portfolio operates smoothly and guest issues are resolved in a professional, timely manner.
the role of the operations field assistant includes but is not limited to:
supporting the operations team in tasks that fall under agreed locations (delivering/picking up items, posting packages, waste disposal, etc.)
ensuring properties are guest ready by doing regular inspections. if a task is doable by yourself, get it done, if further assistance is needed, support from the wider operations team will be available.
greeting and checking in guests - whilst upholding our high standards of customer service
assisting with contractors who may be visiting a property
emergency call out assistance- if a guest locks themselves out/has a flood etc. then you’d be the teams poc for the area. extra payment for out of hours work.
light maintenance work i.e. pressurising boilers, resetting routers, changing light bulbs..
requirements
must be based in st. andrews or able to drive there (petrol costs covered up to a point).
proactive, productive attitude with experience working independently with the support of a remote team.
excellent communicator and speak fluent english, additional languages are a welcome bonus. communication with both the wider team and guests will be required.
problem solver with minimal supervision who can solve tricky situations with an eye for detail.
a few notes:
looking for a fairly immediate start.
some set hours weekly and some ad hoc work weekly, especially through the busy summer.
opportunity for extra hours if driver as we have properties in fife/perthshire also.
