adecco staffing is sourcing a billing specialist for the monroe, pa area. this role is mostly remote but does require you to be in the office occasionally. must live within a reasonable driving distance to monroeville.

 

primary responsibilities include:

qualifying, preparing and submitting claims to medicare part b, major medical, and medicaid

working with pharmacy operations staff, prescriber offices, 3rd party payers, patients and/or their responsible parties and claim processors

working within several different operating systems and web-based programs to retrieve document images, collect supporting or additional information on fills and work claims through to resolution to ensure compliant, timely and accurate billing practices

 

experience required:

1 – 2 years of performing healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing experience

1 - 2 years working with healthcare reimbursement systems experience

working knowledge of medical terminology

customer service skills

ms word, excel and outlook

 

education:

high school diploma or ged equivalent

$22.30 per hour
