Billing/collections representative - united states, lancaster (pennsylvania)

adecco staffing is sourcing a billing specialist for the monroe, pa area. this role is mostly remote but does require you to be in the office occasionally. must live within a reasonable driving distance to monroeville.

 

primary responsibilities include:

third party insurance claim billing and follow up

transmit or submit claims to insurance payers for reimbursement

resolve insurance problems and patient issues that may have resulted from incorrect or incomplete information

maintain chronological notes that detail actions taken to resolve outstanding unbilled claims

 

experience required:

1 – 2 years of performing healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing experience

1 - 2 years working with healthcare reimbursement systems experience

working knowledge of medical terminology

customer service skills

ms word, excel and outlook

 

education:

high school diploma or ged equivalent

$22.30 per hour
