Kitchen porter / kitchen assistant - united kingdom, crouch end, london
kiss the koala is looking for a kitchen porter to join its friendly, growing team. the brunch restaurant is situated in crouch end, north london and the opening hours are mainly in the daytime.
must be available to work weekends! this job can be full time or part time.
duties include but are not exclusive to:
keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitised
sweep and mop floors at end of shifts
be ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operations
wash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation
arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries
keep the food and supply storage areas organised
take out the rubbish and keep bins and bin storage areas clean
help with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed
help with general restaurant cleaning as and when required
applicants do not necessarily need experience for this role, however they should have a good work ethic and be hardworking.
candidates must be well presented and punctual.
