you will be working in the education sector, based in wellington. the role will be fully on site

your new role

your part-time role will require you to be on-site 4 days a week, acting as a second in command to the head of hr. you will oversee project work that the head of hr cannot oversee because of workload. an example of this project work would be running focus groups to learn staff views on their current salary and benefits, collating the data and suggesting next steps and potential solutions. there will also be the possibility that there will be some creation of training involved.

there is also scope for this to be a full time hr advisor role, where you will be upskilled by the hr director.

what you'll need to succeed

* candidates must have experience of working at a competent hr business partner/ advisory level.

* must be confident with writing and delivering training

* candidate must be personable and capable to handle personal issues and situations with care and consideration.

* be able to work on site fully.

* the ability to handle difficult hr conversations.
