adecco is assisting our client, msa globe, in recruiting for a 2nd shift cutter position located in ada, ok. msa globe is a global company that designs, manufactures, and distributes safety equipment and devices. this role is responsible for hand work, coupled with machine operation functions in the production of firefighter suits. if you enjoy a fast-paced work environment and have strong attention to detail, this may be your dream job!
responsibilities for the cutter job include but are not limited to:
performing hand work using electric shears
operating a cutting machine
trimming
inspecting
candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered:
able to speak, read and write english
have basic knowledge of computers or tablets
must have previous manufacturing experience
must be able to stand/walk for full shift
able to assist in team lifting of approximately 10-30 pounds
strong organization skills and high attention to detail
previous experience in quality control and inspection desirable
good manual dexterity skills
must be available to work every other saturday
must be available to work daylight schedule for training 2-4 weeks
what’s in this for you?
pay rate = $15.75/hour-$18.00/hour boe
schedule is monday - friday 3:15pm –11:45pm and every other saturday 2:15pm – 10:45pm
weekly pay – you receive a paycheck every week
bonus opportunities available!
8 hour attendance award (must work entire month to be eligible with no unexcused missed time)
quarterly bonus $150 for quality and $200-$500 for output
sign on bonuses will be paid after hired by client. will earn $1,000 if hired after 90 days and another $1,000 at 6 month mark
