job description:

personal care assistant needed to provide cover for a full-time pa in supporting a 26-year-old female postgraduate with muscular dystrophy to live independently and to access the community.

i need support with all personal care needs and with food preparation as well as preparing for a working day and for appointments.

i will also need support to access the community for shopping and leisure activities such as movies, as well as poetry and musical events.

further information can be given upon request and at interview.

you will be asked to cover/swap days with other pa – this is a shared position where another person works monday to wednesday 9am-7pm, these are the days that you may need to cover.

additional hours may become available, so i am looking for someone who is flexible.

drivers preferred

required to have cover for self in case of emergency/sickness.
