st. margarets motors in rottingdean is recruiting a semi-skilled mechanic who is committed, hard-working and reliable.
to start asap. run by a german master mechanic, st. margarets motors is a professional, friendly, family run garage with a high turnover of vehicles.
from the candidate we expect a high level of professionalism and the ability to work to targets. the employed mechanic should be able to repair and undertake maintenance work on a range of electronic and non-electronic vehicles class 3 and 4, undertaking work on all makes and models ranging from passenger cars, light good vehicles to classic and modern cars.
computer skills and a polite and friendly manner as well as integrity, punctuality, courtesy and commitment are a prerequisite. this position will suit a team player with the right work ethic for a small professional garage.
minimum requirements are either imi/nvq/city and guilds level 3 or similar qualifications in vehicle repair. full uk driving licence is required.
working hours are mo-fri 8.30am-5.30pm and 2,5 saturdays per month from 9am-1pm. 28 days holidays per year (including bank holidays).
the salary will be competitive and based on skill level and experience.
