adecco is assisting a local manufacturer in dover, nh, searching for machine operator’s on 1st shift. these are temp-to-hire positions, with a starting pay rate of $17+ per hour, plus possible incentives and overtime.
schedule:
monday – friday from 6:00am – 2:30pm
job duties:
under the direct supervision of the production supervisor, perform all activities concerning all slitting and shearing production, with special emphasis on producing quality products to meet on time deliveries to customers.
some of the essential roles and responsibilities include: ensuring all finished goods meet company and customer specifications.
ensuring the correct program, setup and procedures are being followed.
performing cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment.
job requirements:
a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
experience with and ability to utilize computer programs for preparation and processing of required paperwork and documentation.
ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
ability to operate a forklift, preferred – not required.
ability to stand for long periods of time.
ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions both oral and written.
