private practice in sw london seeking a full or part time dental receptionist.

we are a fully private dental practice focused on improving the overall health of our patients. this is a patient focus small private practice keen to grow and the suitable person must be able to work on their own initiative. we are looking to build a team of passionate, caring and highly effective individuals who love to work together and love to see our patients receive the benefits of top quality dental care as well as see the practice thrive. as the front of house your role will be to greet the patients with a smile and getting to know them and their needs is key. we look forward to a multitasker and dedicated person joining our growing team who is happy to work under some pressure when the practice is busy. we desire a team player that takes pride in their work and would like a long- term position with opportunity for growth. motivation and attitude is valued as highly as experience. you will have our full support, our team are all very positive and really enjoy being part of the practice. you will be trained with the necessary knowledge of dentistry in order to support the team with admin and appointment bookings

the candidate must have excellent communication skills verbal and written, be well presented, eager to learn, hard-working, responsible, well organised, courteous person and a team player. knowledge of soe software, dental nursing qualification and previous experience would be an added bonus.

receptionist role and responsibilities

meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression and offering a warm and welcoming environment to patients and visitors be customer-focused and have an excellent command of english, be well presented with impeccable communication skills and phone manners be personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus front of house and receptionist duties; telephone management including booking and rescheduling appointments supporting the practice manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice deal with patient objections effectively and efficiently making patients aware of dental services and offers processing payments and recording daily takings maintaining stock and ordering supplies managing website functions and social media accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality ability to keep calm and professional in a fast paced environment efficient with microsoft word and outlook be very organized and with an attention to details. work on your initiative to come up with ideas to increase client base and retain customer base whilst providing excellent customer service understand the vision and brand message for the practice forward planning diaries for clinician, and timely administration including sending welcome emails, collecting consent and medical history forms opening and closing the practice follow all practice systems and procedures keep the office, reception area and waiting room clean and tidy any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested
