vip ski provides around 7,000 outstanding ski holidays a year and operates 40 fabulous properties in five of the leading french ski

resorts. to do this is not easy, we are not a brand, but a community of people and skiers drawn together around a common love

of skiing.

the maintenance assistant will join our properties department to ensure our properties are safe and well presented for guests

and staff. ultimately, to ensure all our chalets and hotels are in tip-top condition and everything is working as expected. this is a

challenging but rewarding role for the right person, who must be a team player but also with the ability to work independently

without supervision.

the successful candidate will be based in france and will be required to travel to work in all 5 of our resorts across the french

alps. transport and accommodation will be provided.

job duties:

• fixing any issues relating to carpentry, plumbing, basic electrics, painting and decorating and repairing household

appliances

• basic chalet maintenance during guest occupation requiring clean working, guest interaction, and smart personal

presentation

• emergency on-call maintenance when required

• alongside the properties manager supervision of third-party contractors

• ensuring all company log books and paperwork are being completed and updated

• overseeing the upkeep of the dedicated maintenance storage facilities, tools, and stock

• and frankly any other stuff that might need doing ….

qualifications and experience

• previous experience and qualifications in carpentry, plumbing or electrics

• must hold a full, clean driving licence, which you have held for at least five years

• ability within french language advantageous, but not essential

• available to travel to london prior to the season to obtain work visa
