adecco is hiring immediately for technical writers with a local client in santa clara, ca. technical writers perform essential duties with pay starting at $38.00-$49.00/hour, plus the potential for overtime!
key responsibilities:
develop new products technical documentation and update legacy product documentation for semiconductor equipment
source relevant content knowledge from databases, pre-existing documents, tool builds, and subject matter experts to create, develop, update, and publish highly accurate, complete, and concise product and service documents on a timely basis
develop and author technical documents while adhering to publication processes and style guides
work with your manager to determine scope, deliverables, and schedule of documentation projects
other duties as assigned
requirements:
bachelor’s degree required
1-3 years of experience in technical writing
excellent english - written and verbal communication skills
proficient in technical publishing software:
dita xml: oxygen editor
content management system (cms): sdl tridion docs, sharepoint, teams
illustration: snagit, adobe illustrator, ms paint
adobe suite: framemaker, acrobat pro dc
ms office suite: word, powerpoint, excel, and outlook
ability to work in a cross-functional organization and multitask on multiple projects
must be a quick learner, self-starter, with strong attention to detail, and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
may require 10% travel
