adecco is assisting a top client in recruiting for a current management coordinator opening in arden, nc. this is for a contract-to-hire opportunity. as a management coordinator, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of customers to ensure the order management process for all clients runs effectively, efficiently and in support of business strategies and objectives. the order management specialist processes inventory and order related functions; monitors inventory & order accuracy, and other requests related to accounts as needed.

responsibilities for this management coordinator job includes, but are not limited to:

  • enters & prepares work orders, sales orders, sample requests, and purchase orders. monitor flow of orders to ensure they’re completed correctly.
  • responds to all customer inquiries sent via email or phone in a timely manner which include but not limited to providing tracking information on purchase orders, shipment variances, accounting discrepancies, etc.
  • demonstrates an ability to learn company system applications such as scale and oracle.
  • updates and maintains the inventory management systems (scale), and makes appropriate inventory adjustments, transfers, and task assignments as required.
  • maintains database integrity:
  • ensures the correct expiration date and shelf-life rules are adhered to by way of periodic and routine month-end monitoring of items in scale.
  • corrects erroneous activity.
  • updates requested changes.
  • conducts research and root cause analysis related to inventory and order managements.
  • maintains backlog of information, track orders and provide team members with status, notify team of discrepancies regarding product or shipping status.
  • works with customers and vendors on issues relating to customer accounts, resolving account’s issues.
  • updates bom changes in scale, maintains the item unit of measure fields in scale (weight, dimensions, etc.).
  • processes submitted production reconciliation reports into scale.
  • prepares and uploads various reports to client in a timely manner.
  • provides general support to all of order management department (helps with sales orders, purchase orders, inventory corrections and transfers, etc.)
  • validates and corrects all systems ensuring integrity of shipments (i.e., oracle/scale).
  • demonstrates an ability to develop and maintain a strong working relationship with customers, peers and other departments.
  • works closely with various teams; marketing, accounting, supply chain, etc., on questions relating to orders and provide status reports.
  • ability to understand and manage specific customer portals such as amazon vendor central, commercehub, ariba, etc.
  • assists other departments as needed (i.e., shipping, b2b, warehouse, returns and front desk).
  • maintains regular and reliable attendance, reports to work on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives to meetings and appointments on time.
  • maintains a safe and clean work environment.
  • understands and follows company policies and procedures.
  • performs all other duties as assigned and required at the manager’s discretion.
  • qualifications:

    associates degree preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.

    ability to multitask and manage time. must be able to prioritize items based on urgency and ensure completion of tasks daily.

    strong communication and follow-up/follow-through skills.

    at least 1 years’ experience in order management, account coordination, b2b logistics & distribution.

    working knowledge and understanding of wms concepts.

    ability to work independently.

    ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    excellent interpersonal communication skills.

    maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

    working knowledge and proficiency in microsoft office (i.e., word, excel, and outlook) required. should have basic knowledge of internet software; inventory software; manufacturing software; order processing systems.

    knowledge of modern office methods, procedures, and techniques.

    familiarity with oracle erp system preferred.

    basic to intermediate math skills.

    excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    good written and oral skills, including proper grammar and spelling.

    problem solving skills.

    maintain an excellent attendance record.

    bi-lingual helpful but not required.

     

    pay for this position is from $20.50/hr doe. hours operating are 7:00am-6:00pm, mon-fri. start times vary so having the availability during these hours is a requirement.
