this is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced cook/chef to show off their caribbean culinary skills and ingratiate themselves into this busy household with 3 generations under one roof.

skilled in preparing fish dishes
food and hygiene certificate or willing to attend a certified course to obtain your food and hygiene certificate

key tasks and responsibilities

preparing a menu for the week or fortnight in advance
ordering shopping for delivery
preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner
know how to make ackee + saltfish, curry goat, oxtail, stew peas and rice, rice and peas, jerk chicken, escovitch fish and festival. this is not an exhaustive list
loading and unloading the dishwasher
setting up a cleaning regime for the house
checking on grandparents and providing additional snacks during the day as required
use a washing machine to wash clothes
ironing
adhoc tasks as and when required

working days and hours

monday to friday 8 am – 1 pm or 1 pm – 6 pm.

5 hours per day (25 hours per week)

salary

£12 per hour
