the aunt millie’s bakery in lowell, indiana began production on april 17, 2017. this bakery produces hamburger and hot dog buns under the aunt millie’s label and other brands. after acquiring the bakery building in 2016, aunt millie’s spent a year completing renovations and installing equipment. the high-speed bakery features a 150-horsepower mixer and produces 1,160 units of buns per minute—or 69,600 per hour.
