we operate two independent pubs in the small town of oxted in surrey nestled in the surrey hills area of natural beauty. they are 16th and 17th century buildings and full of character set in a medieval old village location.
the crown is a well know local family based pub with a large garden, children’s play area and relaxing atmosphere.
the george is more bar and restaurant focused and enjoys a good reputation for its food/sunday lunches. the bar is well regarded for its cocktails and has a lively weekend atmosphere.
both pubs serve fresh homemade dishes daily.
we are looking for a management couple/trainee management couple to join our hardworking and friendly team.
joint salary of 32/39k to include accom/bills/ food etc depending on experience
high standard of accommodation with self contained managers flat all recently decorated.
applicants would be required for one to oversee the foh operation and one to work in the kitchen assisting the head chef and deputising as required.
previous chef/kitchen experience a must and would suit a cdp/junior sous chef looking to further their career.
foh candidate does not necessarily require hospitality experience but working in customer service previously would be beneficial.
applicants will be joining a motivated and hardworking team dedicated to developing the business and moving us forward. you will have the freedom and flexibly to bring in your own ideas etc as you progress and work with the other senior staff.
